Internist
A doctor of Internal Medicine (Internist)
is a Medical Doctor who diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of
the body for men and women over 18 years of age. This includes both
basic and preventive health care treatment as well as diagnosis and
treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses and diseases.
At the FEM Centre you will find our
Internist, Mai Sharaf, M.D., is dedicated to every patient’s physical
and mental well being. She cares for patients with chronic problems such
as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, but is also available
to evaluate and care for more acute problems that may face her and the
patient. Preventative medical care is extremely central to her practice,
and she stresses this with each and every patient.
As Dr Sharaf
points out, “It is essential you take responsibility for
maintaining your good health and addressing your medical problems. Why
wait for disease when you can almost always prevent it?”

by calling either our Fort Worth or Colleyville office. She is available
at our Colleyville office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and our
Fort Worth office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
