FEM NAC contains N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) which is an important amino acid and antioxidant able to work either directly in the body or by stimulating the formation of reduced glutathione (one of the body’s most active antioxidant compounds). FEM NAC shows potential as a preventive agent in cancers such as breast cancer because it helps with detoxification in the liver. FEM NAC is also used as a powerful anti-inflammatory and is used in many sinus and allergy formulas.
