FEM Pros-STAT has a variety of well-known ingredients for improving all aspects of prostate health. Zinc is an essential mineral found in high concentrations in the prostate gland. Zinc is necessary for the maturation of sperm cells and normal fetal development.  Its immunologic activities include regulation of T lymphocytes, natural killer cells and interleukin II. FEM Pros-STAT also contains Saw Palmetto which is used in men to improve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia by altering the effects of DHT. Saw Palmetto is reported to inhibit production of DHT, inhibition receptor binding, and to accelerate the metabolism of DHT. FEM Pros-STAT contains other ingredients to support general prostate health. This formula could be used for incontinence, impotence, and swollen or inflamed prostate. 

FEM Pros-STAT works on all three components of prostate health. Saw Palmetto inhibits testosterone conversion to DHT (di-hydroxy testosterone). DHT has five (5) times the impact on prostate enlargement than testosterone. Nettles Root inhibits Estrogen (E) and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) to enlarge the prostate. As men age, estrogen levels will increase. Estrogen and SHBG have the same impact on the prostate cell as testosterone or DHT. Pygeum blocks growth factors from being released, (Epidermal Growth Factor, Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor) telling your body to enlarge the prostate.

Contraindications:  FEM Pros-STAT contains ingredients that may interfere with oral contraceptives, estrogens, alpha-adrenergic blockers and finasteride.
