Vanessa Sisson, RN, FNP
Vanessa Sisson graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner
Program at the University of Texas at Arlington. Before becoming
a Nurse Practitioner, Vanessa spent five years as a Registered
Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Arlington
Memorial Hospital and at other surgical hospitals in the
Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse, Vanessa attained a
Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Louisiana
Tech University. Vanessa then worked as a trainer and fitness
instructor for 11 years. Her training and experience in the
fitness and health field fuels her passion for nutrition,
fitness, and health in her professional and personal lives.
Vanessa was first introduced to FEM Centre when she became a
patient in 2007. She was impressed with the way she was treated
and with FEM’s emphasis on bio-identical hormone replacement
therapy, health, and of treating the human body and spirit as a
whole.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington,
Vanessa completed the majority of her externship at FEM Centre.
She worked closely with Dr. McWherter, Dr. Sharaf, and Gayla
Campbell, RN, WHNP. During that time Vanessa developed a keen
awareness of FEM Centre’s approach to hormonal balancing,
women's gynecologic issues, and family practice needs for women
and men.
In her spare time, Vanessa and her fiancée enjoy working out,
competitive sports, and planning their February 2012 wedding.
Vanessa works exclusively at the Fort Worth FEM Centre office.
